Isaac's Senior Year is Here!
Isaac's Goal is to Graduate in 4 Years.
Many of you know Isaac, one of our very first Imana Kids. You may have met him in Rwanda when he was in high school, maybe you heard him speak at one of our Gala's or you've met him at church, school or work. We are so proud of all of Isaac's accomplishments as he wraps up his junior year of college at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Isaac Ndagijimana is one of Imana Kids OG students, living at Kimisagara Orphanage prior to being sponsored by Dirk and Kristi Waller. A stand out student, Isaac quickly excelled in academics, clubs and as a leader in our community. Imana Kids staff in Rwanda has long relied on Isaac to help interpret when English speaking teams volunteer in country, to provide emotional support and guidance to our younger students and in assisting in projects between Rwanda and our board of directors in Rwanda.
In 2021, Isaac secured his visa and started as a full time student at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa. After graduating from Iowa Western, he now attends he University of Nebraska at Omaha Business School. His goal is to earn a 4 year degree before returning to Rwanda.
For his senior year, Isaac will be living at home with his sponsor parents, Dirk and Kristi. Isaac will work this summer at Northwestern Mutual in financial advising and sales.
Isaac has maintained a GPA of 3.8 while working at an internship with a CPA and taking 13 credit hours.
